Martin Jacquet, new PhD Student at LAAS - CNRS

We are happy to welcome Martin Jacquet as a new PhD Student on Onboard Perception Methods for multi-robot aerial vehicles


Martin joined the LAAS-CNRS in the first days of January 2019. He will conduct his PhD studies within the RIS group, under the supervision of Antonio Franchi, he will explore the topic of onboard perception methods for flying and cooperative robots within the murophen project.

He is from Grenoble and he gratuated in 2016 as an engineer from the ENSEEIHT school in Toulouse, in the field of Computer Sciences and Applied Mathematics.
He worked as a research engineer in image processing and machine learning for a agricultural robotic applications, at LAAS in the RAP team.

He said to be very excited to start the PhD with the RIS group and also stimulated by the thesis topic and the working group in which he has been involved.
